> fab hallway

This is a wonderful example of how to make a room exciting and eclectic, using some bright colour and my beloved dark grey as a backdrop. A simple wooden bench, picking up on the colour and tone of the flooring, is the base for a collection of everyday objects and arty pieces. The deep grey wall is the perfect foil with the skirting board, painted in crisp white, forming a graphic separation. White framed art on the wall continues the link but adding vibrant touches of bright yellow and pink, lightens and excites the finished look.

> our Colliss & Quinton website is nearly finished

We are getting very excited - the new website for our sister company, Colliss & Quinton is nearly ready to launch. Here is a sneak peek at our home page, which will have a revolving set of interior images showing some of the projects that we have worked on recently. We've done so much and are so proud of all the work we have designed.

We have designed traditional cottages, London apartments, boutique B&B's, farmhouses and Georgian homes... interior design is the best job in the world and we are so lucky to do it.

> Dandelion Fields and Cowparsley

The first flush of dandelions and cowparsley have finished flowering in the hedgerows and fields around our village and we are looking forward to the next wave of them.

Our Dandelion Fields WallScene wallpaper with it's soft grey background (a match to Cornforth White by Farrow & Ball) is a delightful contemporary twist on fields strewn with wild flowers. It looks fabulous with contemporary pieces of furniture and iconic lighting, but works equally well with vintage pieces and natural woods.

> Soldier Ants Wallpaper for pre-teen boy's room

How to create a über cool room for a pre-teenage boy:
Simple... take our "Soldier Ants" WallScene wallpaper with it's cool graphic panels showing ants, maps, helicopters and graffiti as the starting point. The primary colours will add a striking note of colour to a focal wall. Build on the design using the Anglepoise Giant 1227 pendant light or the wonderful Norm 69 lampshade and choose a black Anglepoise desk lamp or the huge floor version if you have the space. Add the iconic Verner Panton chairs and Fat Boy Point pouffe stools and soften with co-ordinating cushions. Finish with Anna Castelli Ferrieri's Componobili storage units which can be used as fabulous and functional bedside units.

Sorted!
