> Delightful Dandelion Fields in full seed head

I saw a lovely sight this morning - a field of Dandelions in full seed head with the wind gently carrying them off to pastures new. Did you know that when fields are like this, it is sometimes referred to as Dandelion Snow?

Our Dandelion Fields WallScene wallpaper was inspired by summer walks in the fields around our village... thousands of delightfully hazy dandelions flutter and dance in a gentle breeze with some of their seed heads floating off into the ether. Set against a soft putty grey background, little birds rest on the dandelions while butterflies and dragonflies flit and fly by..

> let it snow

It's looking very much like this outside our studio window at the moment... except the sky is now a soft grey and it has started snowing again. Our "Woodland Friends" WallScene was designed after a lovely snowy walk through the fields of Blenheim Palace last year, where deer and rabbits skipped in the snow and we marvelled at all the tracks and footprints they left. So lovely.

> Welcome to Autumn

The season of mists and mellow fruitfulness is here, my favourite time of the year. Autumn is particulartly spectacular in our village and the surrounding landscape of Blenheim Palace - the yellow stubble of the harvested wheat fields, the deep browny green and rust tones appearing on the leaves, ripening berries and nuts in the hedgerows, the mists that cling between the dells and hillocks and along the river, grouse and pheasants criss-crossing the fields, and that glorious, golden sunlight, particularly spectacular early in the morning! I love it.

Here is a photo we took last year with a panel of our "Lost Garden" WallScene wallpaper in Winter Sky pinned to a bale of straw. Still looks lovely.

> Dandelion Fields and Cowparsley

The first flush of dandelions and cowparsley have finished flowering in the hedgerows and fields around our village and we are looking forward to the next wave of them.

Our Dandelion Fields WallScene wallpaper with it's soft grey background (a match to Cornforth White by Farrow & Ball) is a delightful contemporary twist on fields strewn with wild flowers. It looks fabulous with contemporary pieces of furniture and iconic lighting, but works equally well with vintage pieces and natural woods.

> gorgeous Woodland Friends WallScene wallpaper...

is proving very popular at the moment! Especially in the Citrus colour. Must be something about this lovely Spring weather... that some of us are having! There are white and brown trees and some have a soft wooden texture printed on them. Woodland creatures scurry around in the undergrowth with their babies, and others are busy nesting or falling in love while flowers are starting to unfurl and welcome  in the spring. Sweet!

Looks absolutely great with a Vitra Eames DSW chair too!

This is going on our daughter's bedroom next week. She has finally chosen this design after pleading to have ALL of our wallpapers in her room! We will post the results when her room is completed.
