> Spring-like colours in our wallcovering

It feels like spring is around the corner outside today. The sun is shining, the birds are singing... is this the calm before more rain, I wonder?

This wallcovering mural makes me feel incredibly happy and uplifted. Its glowing colours are reflective of the glorious yellow rich greens you only find in spring as the trees and hedgerows start to burst into life after their winter dormancy. Happy, sunny colours that will light up a room.

Or, being very optimistic and thinking about lazy summery days, sitting by a river with butterflies and dragonflies flitting past... our summery blue version is calming and relaxing. Here's hoping for a lovely summer.

> new look front page

We've re-vamped our home page in readiness for more new products... and love how it looks. The plan is to update it regularly and feature new items as we launch them.

You can click onto the 'latest news' section and go straight to previews, features or newly launched products and we've included a section which shows the 'best selling' items of the month.

And, if you have time, please follow us on our daily blog and facebook pages - these will feature mood boards, latest designs in progress, interior design projects we are working on and our new 'design tips' section, to  help you design and decorate your children's (or grown up rooms) with confidence and pizzazz.

Hope you like!

> Lunar Landings collection

Sneak peek of a mock-up of our new Lunar collection - available from the beginning of March.

Our Lunar Landings wall clock with high resolution image of the moon has all the Apollo landings mapped out on it. The Moon is in synchronous rotation with the Earth and always shows us the same face. Filled with dark volcanic craters on one side which contrast with the brighter toned highlands and prominent impact craters, it is the most luminous object in the sky after the Sun. Although it appears a very bright white, its surface is actually quite dark. Adding the Moon landing sites gives this clock real dynamism and at 55cm diametre, it's pretty big too!

See our Lunar Landings cushion tomorrow.

> Secret World - new wallcovering

We've had this design done for a while now, but haven't released it because I want to put some texture, (wood grain or news print)  into it to give it a bit more body.

We've cushions to go with the wallcovering and an art print too. I love the mad flamingo on the giant cowparsley!

> blog feature with our Woodland Friends

Our friends at Everything Begins in Australia have featured one of our wall stickers in their latest look book. The styling for their feature is industrial vintage and they have selected our Wood Print Woodland Friends to work with an industrial looking cot and wooden shelving.

Love the look! And imagine how good this would be on a lovely grey wall - big impact and those cushions would contrast beautifully too.

> design tips - designing with pink

I love the colour pink. It is a really stylish colour and incredibly versatile in interiors. It can be fun and frivolous, playful and trendy or just downright bold and punchy. It is most often associated with little girls rooms, but used with consideration, it works it's magic in grown up spaces too. With many shades of pink to choose from, ranging from soft delicate pinks, orangey pinks into deep or flourescent pinks, here are some ideas on how to use it.

This room mixes two tones of pink with red. Deep pink on the focal wall reacts with the red headboard while the orange in the cushions provides the harmonious link. The look is toned down by the use of a softer pink on the adjoining walls and fresh white bed linen and crisp contemporary furnishing accessories.
Is this a playroom or a family living space? Stylish furniture with pop accents mix with flouro shades of pink and a riot of accent colours that contrast or harmonise with pinks... blues, oranges, purples and black. This is a very stylish room that is not intended to be taken too seriously.  You'd have a good time here.

The design maestro himself, Marcel Wanders uses pink. His Isabella wallpaper looks über cool and contemporary mixed with strong black architectural furniture, white bedding and gold toned accents.
Look how stylish mid pink tooks next to spohisticated blacks and greys. This montone bedroom has been given an instant happy 'lift' by introducing some key pink in the way of soft furnishings, flowers and trinkets.
And it is great for children's rooms too. Here's our lovely Fantasia wallcovering mural in bright pink - guaranteed to pack a punch and add vibrant colour to any girl's room. This design is a dream like image of unicorns, flamingoes and butterflies and dragonflies floating above the clouds.
Or our nature inspired Fluoro Dandelions and Cowparsley giant wall stickers. Bright pink mixed with oranges, blues and lime greens will give any wall an instant face lift. Glorious!

> Fantasia Wallcovering in the press

Here's our lovely Fantasia wallcovering mural in midnight blue in "Wallpaper Patterns" book. This design is a dream like image of unicorns, flamingoes and butterflies and dragonflies floating above the clouds - a fantastical little world up in the heavens. Birds and bubbles and seed heads flutter in the sky with pops of dazzling bright colour.

White furniture or soft pale woods work beautifully with these colours, and choose accent colours from the design to add to cushions and rugs.

Can you spot the elephant?
