> Colliss & Quinton; design for grown up dining room

Having already designed and implemented most of the design for the ground floor of a beautiful Norfolk farmhouse with our sister company, Colliss & Quinton (interior design for grown ups), here is the scheme for the new dining room.

We wanted to create an enveloping, luxurious room for entertaining with a dramatic colour palette and statement wallcovering. The walls are to be painted a rich, glossy, bitter chocolate (Farrow & Ball's Mahogany) with Blackened on all ceilings and woodwork. Our "Serenity" wallcovering is going on the focal wall - you won't see this until you are fully in the room, but on viewing, it will set a grand, exotic tone. Antique chairs upholstered with our new "Our Lady" fabric sit around a huge Saarinen Tulip dining table with Jaime Hayon Josephine T golden pendants suspended low. Gilt pictures and Rococo mirrors hang on the wall, mahogany cabinets flank the chimney breast glittering with crystal decanters and a Sebastian Wrong white Spun floor lamp stands sentinel in a corner. Ornate gilt candelabra and flickering candles will dazzle and bounce soft, gentle light off the chocolate walls.

Works have already started and will be completed in time for Christmas.

How about this to brighten up a child's room - a glorious woodland scene with forest animals against a golden citrus green. Evocative of the yellowy Autumnal sunshine bathing the landscape at this time of year, it is guaranteed to transform any room. NEW Pretty Flamingo cushion

Our pretty flamingo looks gorgeous on this cushion. The gently textured background print is layered with a delicate pattern and our poem about these beautiful, exotic birds. The flamingo is dazzling in shades of crimson, pink and vibrant orange... it really packs a decorative punch and will enliven any interior.  Pretty Flamingo will be available in November.

Our grown up interiors company  Colliss & Quinton (for mums and dads), is launching in November, and the cushion will be available alongside our first furniture range, also featuring this alluring design. 

NEW Stag cushion

Sneek peek of our new Stag cushion available in November, and part of our new Tartan range.

We've been working on a new range and will showcase the designs over the next few weeks, but we are loving this design. We've richly layered the cushion design with a distressed paint effect background, subtle patterning and contemporary typography. The tartan is gorgeous, in plummy shades of brown and blacks with a soft lilac thread. We've increased the size of our cushions to a lovely 46cm x 46cm format and they are printed onto a beautifully soft 100% cotton Cambric.
