> how to create a beautiful nursery

How to create a restful nursery with some hits of punchy colour:
Here, we have started with our "Dandelion Fields" WallScene Wallpaper in the softest shade of beautiful warm grey for the walls. A frilly white Norm 03 pendant lamp compliments the dandelions within the design (and it will add the most delightful array of patterning on the ceiling when switched on). An Oeuf Sparrow cot in gentle grey picks up on the grey theme while the bright orange Panton chair adds a shot of colour. Add a white dresser for storage and accessorise with our Birdie Tree art print in duck egg, the Hang It All coat hook and our Dandelion Fields cushions.

The beauty of this scheme is that the Dandelion Fields wallpaper will last for years and grow with your child - it works brilliantly with soft muted shades and natural wooden tones and is a trumph with hits of dazzling pop colours, so you can tone it down or funky it up as you choose. The cot converts into a bed so is a real investment, the dresser is neutral but has a strong contemporary feel and the Panton Chair and Hang It All hooks are design icons that will not date and are the antiques of the future.

> what a way to start the week...

We don't normally post comments we receive about our products on our blog, but perhaps we should. We just had to share this one...

"Hi, I have purchased many items on line and never written a review on a product but I am so delighted with the wall sticker I bought for my kids play room that I thought I would contact!! I bought the Fun of the Fair wall sticker and it looks absolutely fantastic, the colours are amazing and the detail is just brilliant. When my kids saw it completed they screamed!!! What an amazing web site, your products are of the highest standard and truely unique!!"

What a fantastic repsonse! Thank you Nikki!

> devine cots

Aren't these the most covetable cots? They're from a new Spanish company "XO-in my room" run by three brothers, based in Barcelona. Taking inspiration from traditional pieces, they have given the cots a fab industrial twist by using reclaimed materials and creative finishes.

The JANA Canopy Crib is particularly devine and works beautifully with the deep grey walls (try Downpipe Grey by Farrow and Ball) and the THEO Cot looks calm and restful in an all white interior. Try adding a cluster of white paper balloon lanterns, a metal Tolix chair or stool and a chunky rug to create a fabulous contemporary nursery.

Can't help thinking our White Dandelions and Cowparsley wall stickers would also look great with these!

> Little Ben in the Press

Thanks to Amy at Everything Begins in Australia for this - a lovely piece on our "Little Ben" Wall Clocks in the Good Weekend Magazine in the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper. Proclaiming them as "objects of desire", we couldn't agree more.

> Welcome to Autumn

The season of mists and mellow fruitfulness is here, my favourite time of the year. Autumn is particulartly spectacular in our village and the surrounding landscape of Blenheim Palace - the yellow stubble of the harvested wheat fields, the deep browny green and rust tones appearing on the leaves, ripening berries and nuts in the hedgerows, the mists that cling between the dells and hillocks and along the river, grouse and pheasants criss-crossing the fields, and that glorious, golden sunlight, particularly spectacular early in the morning! I love it.

Here is a photo we took last year with a panel of our "Lost Garden" WallScene wallpaper in Winter Sky pinned to a bale of straw. Still looks lovely.
