> for the love of Lego

"Can I get some more LEGO, mum?" A perennial question in our household, and one, I'll guess, that's repeated around the globe. Well, how about taking your little ones to the Old Truman Brewery to see an incredible display of over 80 art sculptures, all made from LEGO bricks.

These incredible sculptures, created from more than a million LEGO® bricks are the work of artist Nathan Sawaya. The show has already attracted millions of visitors worldwide in New York, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Shanghai and Singapore.

Pieces at the exhibition span his career from his earliest creations to brand new ones in a mix of sculpture and pictures. There are pictures of the Mona Lisa, Rembrandt's self-portrait and The Scream. The T Rex (made from 80,000 Lego bricks alone) measures six metres in length.

The Old Truman Brewery, 91Brick Lane E1 9QL until 4 January.
